About the Event

You are invited to 40 Acre Co-op’s 1st annual Juneteenth celebration! 40 Acre Co-op is the 1st Black and Indigenous agriculture co-op in American history. Founded by Angela Dawson in Northern Minnesota in 2019, it specializes in hemp as a catalyst for social equity.

For Juneteenth, we are celebrating freedom, cultural resilience, and healing through sustainable land practices here in Minnesota. We are also praising the contributions of Black and other marginalized farmers to the past, present, and future of American agriculture.

Please join us for learning, conversing, and lunch on the farm!

We are located about an hour and a half away from the Twin Cities going North. The exact address will be sent to you after your RSVP.

Please contact Nathan for any questions (nathan@fortyacrecoop.us).
